wallowing
I wish I could announce after some emotional rollercoastering that I have new new bulldog in my life, but that's not happening right now. I have a new found admiration for people who have gone through an adoption process. I know of folks who have gotten close to finally getting a child so many times and I know a dog isn't a kid but bummer, I thought we were so close... so close.
