I came across this great site, Vintage Printable, for vintage images from books so out of print the images are royalty free. Since these images are scanned in at hi resolutions, they can be printed at a large scale as instant art as blogged here at I Suwannee. They have such a variety from anatomy to scenery. Very kickass site.
It's not secrete I love birds. Here are some the gems I enjoyed looking at. Yup that's a rooster and my totem animal on the top right.
Oooooh, check out this set of Japanese illustration of birds. I love the translation of "Owl," it pretty much means "Wood Rabbit."
